Lookit™ Design, a New York-based web design firm, was selected to develop the new look and manage the creative design and web development aspects of the project.
Company founder Jane Carroll said, “My goal was to create a new website to reflect our clean, sophisticated approach to designing – a more artful approach with less fluff. I also wanted to showcase my interior design work, as I plan to add a retail line of home accessories based on my design work in the near future.”
Another important company objective was to improve the overall shopping experience -- making it easier for customers to navigate the entire site and simplify the checkout process. “The initial feedback from our customers has been extremely positive,” explains Jane Carroll. “Many people have made a point to call us directly and let us know how much they love the new site.
